Religious Intertextuality in The Poetry of Younis Albu Saidi

Abstract

Quoting from the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet is one

of the most prominent concepts of intertextuality in literary studies.

And the poet embodied him as the great artistic directorate in his

poetic construction due to his association with poetic experiences.

This Omani poet, Yunus Al-Bu Saidi, multiplied the quotes, and this

is only evidence of his influence in this aspect and a clear reflection

of himself and his poetics. To boycott and neglect, but rather inspired

by that heritage in distinguished literary productions that combined

originality and modernity.
