The research belongs to descriptive studies and follows a survey method. The research problem What are the news frames on the phenomenon of drugs and psychotropic substances on independent satellite channels. The aim of the research is to explain the main frameworks presented about the phenomenon under investigation and to reveal its sub-frameworks and their focus? The research targeted independent Iraqi satellite channels as a research community Al Sharqiya Channel as a community is available for research, and the research sample represented the period from 2/1 to 4/30/2024 Data were collected using a comprehensive inventory method The research reached results, including the emergence of the framework of solutions to the phenomenon of drugs and psychotropic substances as the highest concentration Then came the frameworks, according to their focus, the geographical framework, then the cooperation framework to combat the drug phenomenon The framework of the target audience, the framework of the causes of the drug phenomenon, and the framework of victory for government efforts Difficulties in reducing the drug phenomenon Knowledge of narcotic substances, the of the results of the spread of drugs, the framework of the exacerbation of the phenomenon, framework of government measures to reduce the drug phenomenon. .
