Abstract

This study examines the manifestations of human heritage in Abbasid poetry and its role in shaping the poem’s intellectual, aesthetic, and expressive dimensions. Abbasid poetry did not emerge as an isolated literary phenomenon; rather, it developed within a broad civilizational context characterized by interaction among the knowledge of different nations, the experiences of diverse peoples, and their intellectual and aesthetic perspectives. This cultural openness expanded the thematic and intellectual horizons of Abbasid poetry, enabling it to move beyond the confines of its immediate environment and engage with a wide range of human and cultural experiences.

The study investigates the ways in which human heritage was incorporated into the structure of Abbasid poetry, particularly in the formation of poetic language, imagery, and intellectual vision. It demonstrates that Abbasid poets did not merely reproduce inherited materials; instead, they assimilated and creatively reconfigured them within the poetic text,
