Abstract

This study explores the allure of symbolism, the aesthetics of suggestion, and the openness of meaning in Ajwad Mujbil’s poetry collection “Al-Ma‘tash.” The work is approached as a poetic text that thrives on implication rather than direct statement, creating a dynamic interplay between image and meaning, and between language and the manifestations of existence. The research views the symbol as a creative device for generating meaning and evoking the hidden layers of the text, while suggestion operates as the aesthetic force that expands the poem’s interpretive horizons.
