Abstract

The research aimed to know the role of visual media in enhancing the image of the teacher from the point of view of parents of students in Anbar Governorate in Iraq. The descriptive survey method was used, and a questionnaire was prepared that included (10) indicators explaining the role of the media in enhancing the image of the teacher, which was distributed to a sample. The study consisted of (427) individuals from the parents of students in Anbar Governorate in Iraq, and the results showed that visual media have a moderate role in enhancing the image of the teacher from the point of view of the students’ parents, with statistically significant differences in the estimates of the sample members according to the variable of gender and academic qualification. And age, and there were no differences according to the variable of residential area. In light of the results, the researcher presented several recommendations, including: developing a comprehensive, binding government plan for visual media in Iraq through which it supports the role of the teacher in society and raises his status.
