Abstract

Humans are born with rights simply because they are human. They are therefore a gift from God and His creation. The story of human struggle to obtain their rights is long and continues to this day. Furthermore, the existence of the state and its various institutions are merely tools created by humans to reclaim and preserve their rights. Despite decades of universal recognition of human rights, they have not been fully realized, even in developed countries. They continue to experience fluctuations, evidenced by demonstrations and sit-ins in most Arab and Western countries. Human rights legislation still appears incomplete and has not witnessed a real transformation. They are merely texts in the constitution, laws, and basic slogans that call for human rights.
